The SCORE General Surgery Resident Curriculum Portal now includes access to the website STATdx, which contains radiologic images, anatomical images correlated with normal radiology, and educational materials. Also new to the portal, residents can now take practice quizzes of multiple-choice questions covering basic science and clinical management. Links to both these features can be found under "Bookmarks" on the portal homepage.

> Systems-Based Practice Modules Now Available to PGY-3 Residents

SCORE has made available on the General Surgery Resident Curriculum Portal 12 interactive modules that address the systems-based practice competency. Created by MDContent, they are accessible by PGY-3 residents until June 30, 2010, via a link under "Assignments." Program directors can access the modules through a link posted in their Bookmarks section.

An instructional video on how to use the General Surgery Resident Curriculum Portal has been mailed to all U.S. general surgery programs. This video is about 40 minutes long and is designed to be played for faculty and residents during a conference. The video explains use of the portal first from the residents' perspective, then faculty, then program director/coordinator.
